A Georgian enamel, hairwork and seed pearl mourning ring, circa 1803, centring on a navette-shaped glazed panel of hairwork within a sinuous border applied with black enamel outlined in seed pearls, to a band similarly applied with black enamel with foliate scroll motifs in reserve at each shoulder, mounted in gold, the interior with the inscription 'D..., Lady Sykes, died 27 July 1803 Aged 55', possibly for Elizabeth Egerton, Lady Sykes (1748-1803), size O1/2
