A VICTORIAN KINGWOOD AND TULIPWOOD BUREAU PLAT IN LOUIS XV STYLE
BY GILLOWS, C.1866-67
with fine gilt brass mounts with rams heads, the serpentine top with crossbanding and a brass moulded edge inset with a later green gilt tooled writing surface, above three frieze drawers decorated with lattice parquetry, the central drawer stamped 'Gillow & Co.', the underside of two drawers signed '19 N. Porter, 1866', on cabriole legs
