IN LOUIS XVI STYLE, LATE 19TH CENTURY
the brass eight day movement by Japy Freres, numbered '625', striking on a bell, the circular dial with Roman numerals, the classical case decorated with female caryatids, love birds and war trophies, the painted panels by 'Cornibert Paris', finely painted with birds, together with a pair of associated gilt bronze candlesticks (3)
