BY CATHERINE ELIZABETH DEVEREUX, DATED '1844'
finely worked in colours on a linen ground with floral sprays above a commentary 'On Prayer', further foliage and the inscription 'Catherine Elizabeth Devereux June 21st 1844', inside a floral border, another inscribed 'Maria Leest 1849' worked with alphabets, numbers and a prayer amongst flowers and foliage and another similar inscribed 'Ada Matilda Clucas Aged 11' (3)
