one modelled as a dancing infant Bacchus, the other as a seated child, supporting a pair of cornucopiae with spiralling fruiting vines, the baluster nozzles with the remains of gilding, standing on a naturalistic base signed 'Clodion', each on a rouge marble plinth (2)
