A JAPANESE EBONY NETSUKE OF A SHISHI
EDO/MEIJI, 19TH CENTURY
The lion dog is depicted crouching down on its front paws whilst baring its fangs, its long mane and tail curling over its back and with its large eyes inlaid in mother of pearl, 4.8cm.
