A late Victorian oak longcase clock, the 8 day movement striking on a gong to an engraved silvered arch dial with applied gilt brass numerals having a subsidiary seconds dial inscribed 'Waring & Gillow Ltd, London & Paris', the arch with strike/silent dial, the hood with pierced side panels to a rectangular trunk door with a bevelled oval glass panel, the base on bracket feet, 93.25in (237cm) h.
