the brass eight day movement with five knopped pillars, an anchor escapement and striking on a bell, the brass 12 inch dial with a silvered chapter ring with black Roman and Arabic numerals and inscribed 'D Lestourgeon, London' around a matted centre with a subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and ringed winding holes, the hood with walnut and gilt brass columns, bands of marquetry and blind fretwork and square door on a trunk with a rectangular door with floral and bird marquetry around a brass lenticle framed by scrolling foliage, the walnut sides with crossbanding, on a base with a marquetry urn issuing foliage, with a pair of brass weights and a pendulum
