the brass eight day movement with four knopped pillars, an anchor escapement and striking on a bell, the 14 inch painted dial with black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds and date dials, the circular hood with a waisted support above a trunk with a lancet door flanked by slender panels and on a panelled base, with two weights and a pendulum
