with bronze mounts, the top inlaid with a chinoiserie scene in various fruitwoods and mother of pearl Chinese courtly figures seated on a kang table, with ash crossbanding above an end-frieze drawer fitted with a writing slope, the undertier inlaid with vases and ewers
