Tuk Fisher for Georg Jensen, a modernist gold necklace, circa 1969, designed as a flexible gold wreath of abstract leaves in polished 18ct gold, length 39cm, signed Georg Jensen, numbered 1133, stamped 18K and 750, British import hallmarks for 18ct gold, date letter O for 1969, sponsor's mark GJLd for Georg Jensen, gross weight 95 grams, original case stamped Georg Jensen
Born in Denmark in 1939, she was an apprentice to the goldsmith Poul Warmind and finished in 1961, joining Georg Jensen in 1962. The present design was introduced in 1963. She eventually attended the Danish School of Arts, Crafts, and Design, designing jewels for Georg Jensen in celebration of their 100th-year exhibition in 1966. In the 1960s, she had exhibitions in London, Brisbane, and Toronto, before eventually turning her artistic attention to painting.
