An exquisite enamel and garnet sentimental ring, late 18th century, designed as a heart set with a foil-backed garnet, between a pair of gold pendants modelled as a key and padlock, to a scrolled gold band applied with white enamel, reading 'PRENES ET OUVRES' ('take and open') in reserve, size H1/2
