A Louis XV French provincial silver wine taster,
by Mathieu Lamoureux, Rouen circa 1765,
circular form, the shaped scroll thumb-piece engraved with a winged cherub, also inscribed 'Lamour Nous Vnit', with a finger ring, the side inscribed 'Robert Pelgas', length 11.7cm, approx. weight 3.6oz.
