A Louis XV French provincial silver wine taster,
probably by Jean Clavier, Rouen 1747,
circular form, the shaped scroll thumb-piece engraved with a cherub blowing a horn, also inscribed 'Quime Coute Est Pris', with a finger ring, the side inscribed 'M. Anne Bouard', length 12cm, approx. weight 5.1oz.
