A Louis XV French provincial silver wine taster,
maker's mark I.R over I, unidentified, Rouen 1753,
circular form, the shaped scroll thumb-piece engraved with a cherub holding an arrow and a flaming heart, 'Ie Vous Le Presente', with a finger ring, the side inscribed 'P.L Hugresse', length 11.6cm, approx. weight 3.6oz.
