A Louis XV French provincial silver wine taster,
by Jean-Baptiste Buchet, Rennes 1725/6,
circular form, the shaped scroll thumb-piece engraved with a resting man drinking wine, and inscribed 'Je Consoll', with a finger ring, the side inscribed 'Pi Collet', length 12cm, approx. weight 3.9oz.
