λ An Edwardian silver-mounted tortoiseshell letter scales,
by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., London circa 1908,
rectangular tortoiseshell base with chased scroll foliate mounts, rectangular platforms one engraved 'Rates of Postage, Not Exceeding 4oz 1, 6 '' 1 1/2, 8 '' 2', with an associated set of four weights, length 17.7cm.
