A Meissen hausmaler or Du Paquier saucer, c.1725-30, finely painted in black schwarzlot with a figure standing over two barrels beside a ruined tower and low tent, before a wide river with buildings on the opposite shore, the rim with a formal foliate border, a rim chip and short rim crack, 12.4cm.
