A rare St Cloud saucer and small bowl, c.1735-40, of lobed form, the saucer painted in a limited palette of red, green and yellow with a shepherd and shepherdess guarding their sheep beneath trees, the bowl with a hunter and his dog in a continuous landscape with other figures and a peacock, the bowl broken and restuck, 12.1cm max.
