A small Sèvres coffee can (gobelet litron), c.1784, painted by Antoine Caton with a wounded British officer in a redcoat uniform, being carried by two French soldiers, reserved on a blue ground with a gilt foliate border by Boulanger pére, blue interlaced Ls mark enclosing date letters GG, painter's marks, a small regilded chip, 6cm.
