A Chelsea octagonal beaker and saucer, c.1754, painted possibly by Henri-Joseph Duvivier with harbour scenes in the Meissen manner, the beaker with an Eastern figure in discussion over a barrel with a seated European figure, the saucer with two figures beside a large barrel, with scattered flowers and flying insects, a restored rim crack to the beaker, filled chips to the saucer, 13cm.
