Two Chelsea cabinet cups, c.1760-65, of bell shape, finely painted with panels of birds perched on berried branches or before leafy plants, alternating with mazarin blue panels, one with gilt foliate and trellis decoration, each with a reticulated scroll handle, gold anchor marks, 6.2cm. (2)
One cup formerly in the Charles Littlewood Hill collection and sold at Neales, Nottingham, 22nd June 1978, lot 122 (part).
