A good Ralph Wood 'Sailor' and 'Planter' Toby jug, c.1790, seated on a square chest and wearing a blue jacket over a green waistcoat, holding a cup of ale and an empty jug, an anchor resting between his feet, his face and hands washed in pale manganese, 28.8cm.
