A Ralph Wood 'Sailor' or 'Planter' Toby jug, c.1785-90, seated on his sea chest with a foaming glass of ale in one hand, the other resting on the handle of an empty jug, wearing a pale yellow waistcoat beneath a buff coat, restoration, 29.3cm.
