A pair of Meissen figures of squirrels, 19th century, modelled by J J Kändler, one holding a walnut in its forepaws, the other with a hazelnut clenched in its teeth, decorated with rust patches to their coats, wearing green collars with gilt chains, blue crossed swords marks, incised 1276, gilder's marks, restoration to two ears, 21.7cm.
