An early Meissen teapot and cover, c.1725-30, painted by or in the manner of J E Stadler with a Kakiemon design of a bird in flight above a hut and flowering plants, the curved spout issuing from a bearded mask, blue crossed swords mark, Dreher's X mark, a small amount of good restoration, 15.2cm across.
