A rare Derby desk set or inkstand, c.1758-60, the rococo scrolled stand set with an integral penholder surmounted with two putti and a goat, with a removable inkwell, pounce pot and taperstick, variously painted with buildings and landscapes, and with scattered insects, small losses and restorations, 25cm across. (5)
