Maria Fein (1892-1965) was born in Vienna, Austria on 7th April. Fein was an actress on both stage and the pioneering cinema, appearing in at least 23 films by producers including Hanna Henning, Rudolf Meinert and Robert Wiene. She married the German actor Theodor Becker, they had two daughters, and one, (Maria Becker) would follow her parents to the big screen.
