An eight row grey cultured pearl necklace, with a late-nineteenth century gold clasp, with fine pellet and twisted wire work decoration to the border, applied with initials JB for John Brogden, containing a glazed portrait miniature on shell depicting the Qutab Minar, a remarkable monument in Delhi, not only for its early-13th century structure, but for the continuation of the Mughal and Hindu architecture, the necklace is 33cm long with extra pearls
