Description
A mid 20th century ruby and diamond-set flower brooch / double clip, circa 1950, the elaborate flowers centred with an old oval-shaped diamond in ruby surrounds within gold petals and scrolling gold leaves accented with further diamonds, calibre-cut rubies and tied with a diamond-set bow, the two flowers both detaching to be worn separately as clips, length 7.8cm
Accompanied by GCS report number 5784-1588 dated 22nd February 2024 stating that the rubies total approx 10-15cts, with samples showing no indication of heat treatment, origin: Burma (Myanmar)
