the tapered body with twin broad raised bands, maker initials ‘TL’ within a heart in the base, (possible makers include Thomas Ludman of Chester 1683-1725, or Thomas Leatherbarrow I of Wigan c.1700) the solid strap handle with a lozenge terminal
