An early-18th century silver nutmeg grater,
by David Fox, London circa 1730,
cylindrical form, the pull-off cover inscribed 'Aemez Vous la Muscade' with an image of a nutmeg, with a pull-out steel grater, length 6.4cm, approx. weight 1.2oz.
