A Louis XV French provincial silver wine taster,
by Maximillien Blanchet, Senlis, circa 1740,
circular form, the shaped scroll thumb-piece engraved with a flower pointed at the sun, also inscribed 'Sands Vous Le Languist', with a finger ring, the side inscribed 'E. Briet', length 12cm, approx. weight 3.9oz.
