A Chelsea scent bottle, c.1762, modelled as Apollo chasing Daphne as she transforms into a tree issuing from her raised arms and head, beneath the domed base decorated with a gilt flower sprays and inscribed 'Rendez Vous A L'Amour' in red, with gilt metal mounts, the stopper with a later glass insert, 9.5cm.
