A large Continental faïence water cistern and cover, 19th century, panted with a couple standing on the shore before ships at sail and another titled 'Le Neptune' and flying a French fleur-de-lys flag, the neck painted with the Russian Imperial arms, the shoulders and cover applied with pike and coral, 42.5cm.
