A large Copeland Parian figure of a young girl and a dog, c.1862, modelled by Joseph Durham, seated on a rocky stump and holding a terrier type dog on her lap, the base titled 'Go to Sleep', impressed 'Art Union of London', the reverse impressed 'J Durham Sc 1862', her right forefinger lacking, 46cm.
