A Palissy-style maiolica dish, probably 19th century and attributed to Joseph Landais, moulded in relief with a Classical figure seated on a terrace in a garden, within a wide border of scrolled foliage picked out in blue and green on a pale manganese ground, the underside with a mottled blue and manganese glaze, a rim crack, 31.8cm.
