A Minton pâte-sur-pâte ewer by Alboin Birks, c.1900, decorated with a seated Classical maiden holding up a hoop for putti to fly through, reserved on a dove grey panel on a white ground with gilt husk swags, signed, the tall handle issuing from a gilt satyr mark, gilt factory mark, the handle broken off and restuck, some chipping to the spout, 28cm.
