A Sèvres coffee can, date code for 1785, painted with the initial J within a painted bead panel amid rose and forget-me-not sprays, two pink rose sprays flanking the handle, blue interlaced Ls mark enclosing date letters hh, painter's mark mb, and a Paris porcelain coffee can painted in the Sèvres manner with diagonal bands of flowering stems and gilt foliate designs, some gilt wear to the first, 6.5cm max. (2)
