A Meissen 'crinoline' group of lovers, 2nd half 19th century, originally modelled by J J Kändler with a gentleman leaning over a lady seated with a wide crinoline skirt, a pug beside the table on which she rests her sewing, blue crossed swords mark, incised 551, the male figure broken off and restuck, 18.5cm high.
