With a copy of a 1962 invoice for The Little Shop.
The first a conjoined rock crystal bottle dated the wuxu year (1898), decorated with figures on riverbank and a hunting scene; another dated the yisi year (1905), painted with paradise flycatchers and swallows amidst pine trees; a third dated the jisi year (1929) with decorated with the 'Hundred Birds' motif.
Ye Zhongsan (1875–1945) is regarded as one of the top four artists of the Beijing School of Snuff Bottle Painting. His students, Wang Xisan and Liu Shouben, as well as his granddaughter, Ye Shuying, are also renowned artists in snuff bottle painting.
