Mk III* bolt action service rifle, serial number A93326, dated 1916, later target barrel 25 in., by B.S.A. and fitted by Martin, bolt with round cocking piece, butt socket impressed 'B.S.A. Co' over '1916' over 'SHT. L.E.' over 'III*' all under a GR crown, full stocked in standard service configuration, vacant brass butt disc, Birmingham military nitro proof.
