A diamond, spinel and seed pearl parure, India, comprising: a necklace of fringe design, the central row of drop-shaped motifs set with lasqué-cut diamonds and red paste between elaborate diamond-set borders, suspending seed pearls and spinel bead drops, centring on a pendant of similar design with a further fringe of seed pearls and spinel beads, the reverse of the necklace with elaborate enamelled red and green floral decoration, in yellow gold, to a fabric cord, pendant length 5.5cm, necklace length 35-82cm; a pair of earrings of similar design, composed of two sections set with lasqué-cut diamonds and red paste all suspending fringes of seed pearls and spinel beads, the surmounts each with a further row of diamond-set mounts suspending seed pearls to a fine link chain, in yellow gold, clip and screw fittings, overall length 20cm; and a pendant of similar design, set with lasqué-cut diamonds and red paste above a fringe of seed pearls and spinel beads, suspended from a row of diamond-set links below a hook, in yellow gold, length 13cm
