AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY BRASS WAX JACK

PROBABLY HARRISON, BIRMINGHAM, C.1820-30

having a spring loaded bisected socket and integral drip pan, a plain stem (the spool for pre-coiled wax taper) with urn finial, on a circular base with heart-shaped piercing and scroll handle, cast 'H' to the underside
