A Swiss Art Deco silver motor racing trophy cup and cover,
by Baltensperger, Geneva circa 1928,
tapering baluster form, engraved with female nudes and foliate decoration, the domed cover with a female finial, the raised circular base inscribed 'Grand Prix d' Europe Geneve 1928 Coupe Offerte par Representants Generaux De L'Huile Catrol Pour La Suisse', height 28cm, approx. weight 24.5oz.
