A rare Queen Anne Scottish silver thistle mug,
by John Luke, Glasgow 1704,
tapering circular form, with a central band above cut-card decoration, beaded scroll handle, scratch initialled 'ZM' over 'ER', and with a later crest and motto, on a circular foot, height 8.3cm, approx. weight 5oz.
