A Sioux pipe bag
Plains
buckskin, coloured glass beads, lazy stitch with differing geometric designs to each side, the lower part with natural and dyed bound quill with crosses, above a fringe, the top side with a tie with strips of bound quill with tin cones and feathers,
87cm long.

Provenance
E. D. Mossman. Worked in the United States Indian Service from November 1898 to July 1933. He collected American Indian artefacts over the years in the Service, reflected in his different assignments and the two Indian women he was married to.
