Nigeria
with a dished top and a relief carved body depicting a diviner/priest with a bag over his shoulder, a drummer, a female figure wearing a neck amulet and waistband, snakes, turtles, lizards, a leopard, an antelope, a thunderaxe wand and a stylized figural talisman, with Reckitts Blue and white pigment dot decoration, the underside cut out,
37cm high, 39cm wide.
