A Solomon Islands headrest
Melanesia
with a curved rounded edge top and a deep frieze and end supports, carved stylised leaves and frigate bird heads, each end with a relief head, on lozenge shape feet, the underside inscribed New Caledonia "Speak" Bequest [1932.468],
12cm high, 25.5cm long.
