the ovoid body carved with a scene of a huntsman being chased by a bear, the reverse with a huntsman shooting a deer, beneath a meandering band, the spout inserted into the body, the hinged cover carved with a lion passant with a scrolling thumbpiece on a pegged handle, on three lion feet, with stamped marks to the underside of the cover and base
